This morning started slow (as expected after the holiday buzz!) with my two adorable foster babies keeping me busy, childcare is closed today. My morning routine, usually a sacred time for journaling, took a little detour. Instead of writing fresh thoughts, I skimmed through yesterday’s entries while juggling coffee and cereal at the kitchen counter. Multi-tasking genius? Maybe. 😏
Even in the chaos, my laptop stays close because inspiration doesn’t wait for the “perfect” moment.
After breakfast, my 19-year-old son and I bundled up the littles and took a walk around the park. The fresh air, their giggles, and the joy of nature, it was the reset we all needed. Now, they’re napping (thank you, park adventure!), and I have a golden 3-hour window to write.
My husband’s also resting today, so I’m holding the fort, and loving every moment of it. This life, this balance of family, creativity, and leadership, is my masterpiece in progress.
Today’s lesson: Even in the midst of a full house, there’s always time to show up for your dreams. Adapt, flow, and trust the magic of the moment. ✨
